Red Bull has setup a full pit-wall installation which they didn't at the last tests. Likewise the Renault engine go higher in revs and have the turbo screaming going down the straight. Appears the Renault engine go unlimited so far at this test and mean business this time around! Should be visible pretty soon when the lap times come up.

Mercedes hinted they already have done quali lap testing at previous test, while focus now is on high fuel load / race performance simulations.

And laps:
Rosberg (Mercedes) 71
Magnussen (McLaren) 64
Bottas (Williams) 64
Kvyat (Toro Rosso) 56
Perez (Force India) 50
Ricciardo (Red Bull) 32

Raikkonen (Ferrari) 25
Chilton (Marussia) 24
Kobayashi (Caterham) 12

Ferrari had a mechanical issue that meant Kimi only did 12 laps this morning and took some hours for the team to fix. He is just out now again and Ferrari gave this cryptic tweet: "We found a small problem that needed fixing and required some time, then fitting some new parts simply elapsed the time a bit more."

Red Bull has not yet made more laps since lunch today, so they have another day of limited running.

In comparison, both Magnussen and Bottas have now each completed more than 100 laps today. The Mercedes engine both fast and very reliable so far.

Meanwhile, the Lotus team just decided to call it a day after 31 laps, tweeting:
"Exhaust and assorted changes mean an early bath for us today, we'll be back on track early tomorrow morning."

(edit)
Just picked up from a journalist: Red Bull suffer from overheating issues. So lets see if we will get them back on track more today.

So Daniel Ricciardo completed just 3 laps this afternoon?
Clearly Red Bull is struggling. Today they confirmed overheating problems, so looking bleak for how they will be ready for going a full race distance at any decent speed.
Ricciardo will now have just one more day in the car before the Australian GP.

Actually the other Renault powered teams did not do too much better.

Lotus ended the day early when, stopping on track before lunch. An exhaust problem obliged them to work in the garage most of the afternoon. Maldonado has done just 116 laps in total so far in the new car. 1 day remaining of test for him.

Kobayashi in the Caterham stopped with smoke coming out from the car this morning, completing just 19 laps in total today.

The Melbourne race will be judgement day. <thumbsup>

Button's Mclaren lost drive too. Although they're hoping to be back out for the last hour

Both Red Bull and Lotus having a terrible day today.

Lotus F1 Team@Lotus_F1Team just tweeted:
We've stopped running. We're investigating. Looks like an early bath for @RGrosjean today. Maybe to join Seb #Vettel in the pool...
At least they still have some humour left. <thumbsup>

Todays running so far:
1. Kevin Magnussen, McLaren, 1:36.172, 59 lap
2. Kimi Raikkonen, Ferrari, 1:36.993, 32 laps
3. Felipe Massa, Williams, 1:37.224, 63 laps (no red flag so far in testing)
4. Nico Hulkenberg, Force India, 1:38.000, 96 laps
5. Nico Rosberg, Mercedes, 1:38.557, 58 laps
6. Daniil Kvyat, Toro Rosso, 1:39.297, 45 laps
7. Marcus Ericsson, Caterham, 1:41.614, 80 laps
8. Jules Bianchi, Marussia, 1:41.889, 63 laps
9. Romain Grosjean, Lotus, 1:42.166, 33 laps
10. Adrian Sutil, Sauber, No time, 1 lap (car on fire this morning)
11. Sebastian Vettel, Red Bull, No time, 0 lap. (broke down twice on track)

Btw the Caterham-team is rock solid performing. They have now done approx. 2,500 kms of testing. Most of anybody.
