A bit of a stretch, as I don't recall Shumi causing a death in his racing career. And many others have been just as dangerous.

I really don't think this is a case of living by the sword and dying by the sword. Shumi likes potentially dangerous pursuits, and this was very unfortunate accident. It wasn't
constructed by Shumi any more than someone who has a fatal slip and fall in a bathtub.

I never said he did cause a death, however he was happy to deliberately put other drivers at risk many times.

Look what happened to Ayrton Senna, fate caught up with him in the most cruel way. It's the same for Schumacher.

As with everyone else, I dearly hope he can make some kind of survival. However, if you go through your life playing God then ultimately it's going to catch up with you.

I think your waaaayyyyy over dramatizing it. There have been drivers that could have given a shit less about their competitions' safety that are still walking today.

This story appears to be true. It displays the true love his wife has for him. Please wake up Michael.

The wife of Michael Schumacher is reportedly spending £10million on building a fully equipped medical suite in their family home so her husband can leave the hospital.
Even though Corinna Schumacher, 45, has been told by doctors it is highly unlikely the racing ace will ever wake up from his medically induced coma, she has decided to build the facility in their estate on the banks of Lake Geneva, Switzerland...................Mrs Schumacher refuses to give up on the man she once described as the 'perfect partner'........... 'would view breaking faith with the hope of a miracle a betrayal, little better than treachery.
'She feels that the family communes around his bedside pulsate their hope and love to him, and that of the millions of fans worldwide who share that faith.
'She can’t express defeat because that would be the end of her.'

Well, it's news at least. We won't know if it really is good or not for some time, I suspect. However, it is certainly encouraging.

In this press release his agent Sabine Kehm also pointed out that the story about Schumacher's wife building a $10M nursing home at their private residence is not true.

F1 champion Michael Schumacher is showing "moments of consciousness" after months in a coma, his agent has said.

Sabine Kehm said in a statement to the media that he was "making progress", adding that they remain "confident" AND THIS ONE Sabine Kehm, Schumacher's manager, said: "Michael is making progress on his way. He shows moments of consciousness and awakening.
"We are on his side during his long and difficult fight, together with the team of the hospital in Grenoble, and we keep remaining confident..
SHE ALSO SAID

Earlier this week, Ms Kehm dismissed rumours of a multi-million pound clinic, designed for Schumacher and to be built in his Swiss home, as "absolutely groundless".

This looks official as its in several media outlets and its Sabine talking NOT others, COME ON SHUMI, That's a fastest lap, march on to that 92nd win!

Schumacher 'showing small signs of progress' says his manager on German TV

Michael Schumacher is 'showing small signs of progress' as he continues to slowly recover from devastating brain injuries suffered in a ski accident, his spokeswoman said on Sunday.

Speaking on live television, the driver's manager Sabine Kehm spoke of the F1 legend's recovery and how his 'little bit of progress makes us very happy.'

Miss Kehm told German broadcaster ARD: 'There are short moments of consciousness and he is showing small signs of progress.

'There are moments when he is awake and moments when he is conscious.

'Of course I am not a doctor, but medically, there is a distinction between being awake and being conscious, the latter meaning there is an ability to interact with his surroundings.

'I don't want to disclose details out of respect for the family, but we have no doubt at all in the abilities of the doctors treating Michael, they are experts in their field.'

Doctors put Schumacher into a medically induced coma after he hit his head on a rock while skiing at the French resort of Meribel on December 29.

Miss Kehm insisted Schumacher will be brought out of the coma - but did not indicate how long the process would take.

She added that if and when Schumacher is moved to a rehabilitation clinic - to begin the long recovery process of learning to speak and move again - his state of health will become a 'private matter' and no more news will be forthcoming.

She said: 'Michael Schumacher is in a coma and can not decide what is reported about him. We of course know how he deals with such things and try in his interest to handle these matters for him.'

Her words this evening come just hours after International Automobile Federation president Jean Todt said the driver was still 'fighting' for his life and his future remains uncertain.

'I see him very often and he's still fighting. He's fighting and we can only hope and pray that it will improve over the future,' Todt told journalists on the sidelines of World Touring Car Championship race in Marrakech.
