Although I disliked the guy, he's done so much for the sport. Utter living legend.

As far as I am concerned he retired in 2006, the last few seasons were a mid-life crisis. Hopefully in a few years I can get back to just remembering him when he was at his best.

I thoroughly enjoyed his comeback. Too bad he didn't have the car.

That one pole he got in Monaco could have been a win except for the 5 place penalty.

Oh well, the sport will go on.

I think his comeback has been a disaster, to be honest. Having a car that was rarely competitive didn't help. But Rosberg - who I don't rate particularly highly, to be honest - had the measure of him for the majority of their three years together. This after a career in which he had never been beaten by a teammate over the course of a season.

Nonetheless, he will largely be remembered for his seven world championships and some of his legendary drives, especially in the wet. Unlike some, I don't believe his poor comeback diminishes his past achievements at all.
