The COTA site says they are sold out. I genuinely hope so. Financially it will be unwise for me to go until my youngest is in school, and I do not trust Bernie. He's shown no love for the US. I think he wants to prove F1 doesn't need it.

One race in a nation of 350 million, it should (on paper) be a no brainer... the key will be to make it attractive to the US motorsport fans who are not used to the F1 way of things... it needs to be a great race venue... we will see soon enough.

I think the USA prefers home grown sports, ones that only USA citizens compete in mostly so that they can say they are world champions in that sport.

lI was obviously being very glib when I made that comment, but you will find that all those three sports are played internationally, even here in Uruguay where I live there is a big reputation for Rugby and obviously the game played with feet and balls called football.
