Maybe. But Alguersuari and Buemi also were at STR for two seasons.

at the end of 2011 season, Alguersuari finished 14th and Buemi 15th overall, 26 & 15 points respectively

Who finished with what points

Firstly I think that its worth noting that Vettel scored 6 points in his first year at STR and 35 in his second. Take away the freak win (which he undoubtedlyh deserved but is out of character for the team) amd he'd have 10 points. It would be fair to say that STR has managed more or less to increase its points tally each year. Both Buemi and Alguersuari improved on their previous year and STR rose, that is until this year. STR have chances to score more points as yet but IMO the current two have not done anything significant to suggest they are performing better than the previous pair.
