I think it's a good move for him and although it's another midfield team Sauber have proved a stepping stone for better whereas FI have not. Think Kimi, Massa even Perez.

However, I do see FI as a stable team in F1 now and it's not a bad place to be, they have made good steps especially or despite, depending on how you see it, the loss of Gascoyne. Where is HE now I wonder?

Isn't Gascoyne at Caterham now?

Exactly, like drivers you are supposed to go to better teams as your career progresses, when you make a backward step like that, it's time to consider retirement.

Its being suggested that there is a Ferrari link to Hulkenberg's move to Sauber. It seems he's on Ferrari's shortlist to replace Massa, so they'll be able to assess him better if he's at Sauber.

Either way, I think Hulkenberg is a very good driver and have been impressed with him since his A1GP days. So, I hope he does well.

HRT.

Come on, they've always wanted an all-Spanish lineup! :P
