Button posts yet another fastest lap, I am not seeing them and wondering if he is getting a DRS tow from a back marker

No, Button has nobody near him, neither ahead or behind.

Maybe not one of the best races ever but a result I am happy with, Alonso lost that race by starting 5th, something Ferrari need to work on... with just 75 points now remainig, Lewis is now 75 points behind, Mark is 73 behind and Kimi 67 so they would all need Alonso and Vettel to fail in all the remaining races with themselves winning all 3 so realisticly they must be considered out.

This sets up the last 3 races as a two man race and I believe Alonso can still become the 2012 Champion. He is faster and only fell behind Vettel through the actions of others and he a master of the mind game.

It was an incredibly dull race.

I hope the rest of the season is not that bad but I suspect it will be.

I'm not sure how you genuflect <think> but that is not how I do it... afterall the name describes the action and Vettel at no point bent his knee.

what I did see however was Seb go to the back of the car and stroke it in appreciation... like I've seen many F1 winners do many times before. <thumbsup>

Genuflecting, heaping praise on, tantamount to the same thing. Let's just say Newey designed my artistic license and interpreted a few figures of speech in his own special way.

I don't know how you genuflect John but I have no need to genuflect anything.

And that is were you are wrong as they are not the same thing at all. Genuflection is a particular act (which Seb did not do...)

In F1 many drivers praise their cars in parc ferme, I have even seen some kiss theirs, so to single out Seb for patting his is rather pointless. Now If you wanted to witness a sportsman actually genuflecting then you should search google images for Teabowing and see just how you actually genuflect.

As for your declaration of having no need to genuflect, I have no doubt in my mind what so ever that you do not do it, however I am less convinced of your need not to, despite protestations to the contrary.
