Whats with Bernies obsession with street races? ![]() Was he a tour operator at some point? See the skyline, see the waterfront, see the lights. We want to see F1 cars racing on tracks instead of looking at the sights, Bernie

I agree that the street races are not the best for racing action. Monte Carlo is the worst where the only potential for action is the prospect for an accident. This venu, however, looks great and it could be one of the premiere GPs. NY is, after all, one of the top three cities in the world. Rob would be the best to analyze the circuit itself, but I thought it looked ok. The city is massive respecting impact. No matter what his shortcomings, Bernie is the genius behind F1. So we should respect him. |

America already has two races, one in Canada and one in Brazil where they seem to have a strong fan base, but I suppose one in the united states might be interesting. As for street tracks, they used to be great, it's the changing nature of the car design that has ruined that. |
