Some people see this as rather a negative and I've seen some comments such 'Please Retire'

That would be like me asking the manager of the local supermarket to sack the girl at checkout 3 because I am sick of her stupid hairstyle.

It's tantamount to saying the same of Schumacher.

Either way, it's to his credit that while many fans are out on his talents, those that know (team bosses) are not.

Nice place to celebrate, being where he achieved his first win.

Who's wanting Button to retire? He doesn't appear to have slowed at all.

You only have to glance through the comments on the PlanetF1 articles to see the kind of vitriol directed towards him. It's old news really.

Well I shan't be going on that website then, those sort of comments really annoy me! After all, he was running second in the WDC before he had 2 DNFs, neither of which were his fault.....

Hope he has a good weekend at Hungary -I will never forget how excited I was when Alonso spun off the track and Jenson went on to take that first win.
