I just realized, my precisely 1,500th post was wasted on those useless scoundrels from that completely useless city with those vandal fans.

Oh well, like my mom always told me, you can't always choose who your 1,500th will be.

Well, those Canucks fought valiantly. The fans on the other hand... Besides, I'm still getting my head around the changes to my team.

Anyway on to the British GP. Half the track is fairly dry and the other half is extremely wet. Should be an interesting start.

Anyone prepared to offer odds on a Ferrari win today? I'd love to see Massa win this one.

The only thing I'm betting on is that not all the cars make it round the first lap intact.

I could, however, be wrong.

Hoping I can keep us all amused and not fall asleep (like at Monaco) I expect we might have a decent crowd tonight on the forum.

TCG (who will be joining us as surely as measles result in spots) is no doubt gloating at all the press the finger is getting, so that he has this confidence in his outpost in the middle of no where that he is not, in fact, completely warped and his understanding of reality is shared by many, including some from this planet.

Rob will be secretly watching but will not show his face unless Alonso does well near the end of the race. If not he will tardily show up and complain. It takes Rob time to get over the let down of the little red engine that could but didn't.

Magic Mike might show up, but he has a quota of six posts per annum so the odds are he will not.

Nomad might contribute, and we all enjoy his contributions, but the thing is you never know where he is. Internet connectivity in the deserts and tundra are not reliable.

Flood will not participate because, after reading my summary earlier in the week, he is confident that he already knows the result and will therefore have no need to watch or comment. Besides, he often doesn't like everybody in the forum. He does, but he doesn't. I also think he is testing a new gun this morning his time. He apparently found someone (Jorge) silly enough to run around holding a moving target. Would love to see how that works with a scatter gun. I hope he uses rubber pellets first, but I can surely picture his grin as Jorge jumps and yells "ouche senior flood!!"

Shumi gains 3, Rosber loses about the same

For those who think Mercedes is relevant

For those who think Mercedes is relevant

I think both Hamilton and Button thinks so to some degree? <think>
