Yes, very wet, for the most part. Only a few tried the slicks towards the fag end as it began to dry out a little.

Fag end? Nico has his own end of the session?

Fag end is an english expression meaning right at the end and usually almost worthless.

Fag end is an english expression meaning right at the end and usually almost worthless.

I think Rob understands that, and in fact has applied that definition to the apparent usefulness, or lack thereof, of ends and slicks in the Rosberg context - purely illustrative of course.

What I would be interested to know is how much grip slicks might have in a drying fag end scenario and whether or not that degree is desirable.

In the predominantly Catholic Italy from whence Pirelli hails, this might be a taboo subject, and as such I speak circumspectly.

Clearly, if you apply the words "fag" and "end" in the San Francisco context, their meanings are very close to the meanings in the British context - well from a heterosexual but not necessarily Catholic perspective. (I think the Vatican is dealing with certain of those potential dissonances itself)

And in applying that context to the slicks in the dry and their enhanced friction leading to better grip, and relating that to the end of a smoking fag....well I think Rob is spot on.
