What has happened to F1 drivers

Get a little knock and they need to go home.

Perez for me should have raced this weekend.

Petrov skinned his knee and he is in hospital after Monaco

Moto Gp riders today riding with broken collar bones and STILL race.

Come on the boys need to man up. <thumbsdown>

I don't think they are wimps. I mean, do we want to see a Kubica style accident every weekend because a driver was not fit to handle the trillion brake horse power beast that he has under his ass.

he endagers his own life, the other competitors, the marshalls his pit crew and members of the public everytime something goes wrong.

Hockey players are only going to hurt themselves (more) playing like that.

Just as soon as I work it out out where the internal combustion engine features in hockey I'll start watching.

I have so much admiration for the likes of Mick Doohan who made old old boots look soft and pliable but I don't need to see people playing with broken bones; I just object to the play-acting that goes on in football - on several different levels.

Ehhh, concussions are a bit different than most injuries. There is not really a good way to measure recovery. Xray's and cat scans don't really tell the whole story. Everyone heals differently, I'd rather not have him on track if he wasn't healed.
