By the way, Vettel did a triple Jenson on those tyres and then got to play the joker.

Would just like to add that this was the first race this season that I did not feel was compromised by the tyre/overtaking aids situation.

Perhaps I might have felt differently had the crucial red flag not been raised. We'll never know if Vettel's tyres would have dropped off the cliff or if he'd have been able to keep Alonso and Button behind.

There was a little more overtaking than usual at Monaco, I thought a good level; possible but not easy.

And of course my lovely, lovely Williams team were looking much better, at least until Lewis ran Pastor the road.

After today one can see why Lewis believes it's ok for him to run into other drivers whenever he feels like it without being penalised; it's because he's black.

At any other track Jenson would have passed both cars within the 6 laps... at Monaco even with KERS and DRS it is not a forgone conclusion... it would have been fun to watch but I am happy with the results so not really bothered that we didn't.

Jenson must surely be a favorite for Canada

We shouldnt forget that had Lewis not been hampered by the strategy the team chose for him for qualifying, hed have been on the front row challenging for the win also. But Button ran well in Canada last year, I think he likes it

Oh dear that would be an absolute tragedy... now If only we had someone to remind us... <think>

I don't suppose you'd be willing to remind us TGC... that's a good fellow, we can rest easy now. <whistle>

I was just kidding regarding Lewis and his qualification strategy, regardless of Lewis, JB drove a good race and might do so again in Canada

Despite his woes this weekend Lewis showed the potential of the car as did Jenson and even if the McLarens are behind the RB in qualifi (not a forgone conclusion) they will be favorits to win in Canada... this is a weak track for the RBR and it is a track Lewis enjoys a lot.

If he can handle the bad press he has generated he should do well.

Lewis thrives in these kinds of confrontational conditions, which is just as well given that he actively generates so many of them.

But it doesn't help when he continues to put a bulls eye on his back for the stewards.
