I hope no penalties are issued. I believe it was a great race today. Would have been nice to have more that two challenging for the lead, but great racing all through the field ...

Am I the only one who doesn't have a problem with the finger thing Vettel does? I neither like it nor dislike it.

You're not the only one.

Watch how the royal family waves. It is nice.

Jumping for joy is nice.

But this constant number one finger jabbed so arrogantly in your face is, for me, incredibly annoying. In defence of TCG it was me that created the nomer "the finger" for Vettel, and not TCG.

I am typically a fairly tolerant person, and I am the first to say that Vettel has become so much more likeable this year. But that finger for some reason - that unexplainable reason - is something that pisses so many people off including Star Sports commentators it would appear and for sure me.

Someone should take that otherwise very nice person aside and tell him to stop using his finger.

BBC reporting some people under investigation for not slowing under yellows. I missed all the names, but I did catch that Webber and Alguersuari were mentioned.

I think Webber set a Fast Lap under yellow, so it's a valid investigation.

The use of 'finger' gestures in most cultures for one reason or another is a powerful aggressive and often rude sign. I just see its use in this context as rather excessive.

However it seems that bringing it into question is sufficient to offend some people.

Maybe it's a cultural thing. I have no issues w/ the extended index finger, I might if it was the one next to it.

Well you wouldn't have a problem, would you, given that you like everything filtered through barley and such.

In fact that is your testing finger, if I am not mistaken. Swish the FINGER through the mash and then you know: She's a good batch thisun"

You can also use the FINGER to test wind direction. Even golfers do that.

As much as I personally dislike the Vettel Finger for what it represents, I should, as I mature and become more tolerant of differing cultures including the uses of digits, give the Cherman some slack.

Just reminiscing, and thinking of the usefulness of the finger for testing wind direction and such, I recall how I have used that very same finger to determine the suitablility of a female to be my companion even if for a short time.

Am I censured yet?
