I know that you guys do not give a damn about USF1 and I know that none of you have any interest in my blog, but you should take a look over there because there is some pretty good stuff regarding one of the new F1 teams.

It's not that we don't "give a damn", just that it is early yet and there is no real news to get our teeth in to. There hasn't been much enthusiasm for the new Lotus team either, to be fair.

Anyway, their set up is impressive as well as their calibre of their technical partners, though I still believe that they will be on a steep learning curve compared to dedicated race car builders. Still, I do expect them to progress well.

When they announce some drivers, there'll be some interest.

I like the idea of Bourdais for the team, he was never given a fair crack by Toro Rosso and deserves a second shot. Plus he has recent experience, but money? That may be the issue. USF1 might be looking for someone who can bring more sponsorship to the team - Lopez's deal reported a few months ago was said to be based on him bringing several million dollars' worth of sponsorship with him.

I actually do give a damn, though agree with others that lack of driver announcement or publication of more news, indicating fast forward movement of the team to be ready for the launch, keeps the overall interest on a moderate level.

More specific USF1 news on a more regular basis would make me more interested. Also to make me visit the website more frequently, as other articles about other generic areas of F1 can equally be found other places on the web.

What I really liked was the USF1 team walk-around that was published some weeks ago! Really cool and giving insight/openess rarely seen to the ordinary folks like us. <thumbsup>

I'm still mad at them for making their car debut a "private event." <please>

I'm not complaining, I'm just trying to attract some attention. <angel> We are getting about 600 hits a day and I'm happy with that. Today there were 1098.

Sincerly, many of you visit and I can see that some hits come from TPL and I appreciate it. <flirt>

So, you know I had a look at your great blog hmm?

I am sure everyone here is hungry to read about anything that talk about F1 and your blog is actually very well presented and full of interesting technical information. Well done <thumbsup>

Small/new teams does not really get too many people excited, but I hope that at least one of them will be there at the top although I might be dreaming a bit, but who knows.

Thanks for your comments. I want to let people know that I allow guests to write blog articles on any subject. If you have something you want to post, let me know.

I saw somebody, IfromOz, I'm glad it was you. The stats page of the blog tells me where a hit originates. I can see the link. So, someone on 10Tenths linked the blog and I got 100 hits from there. SpeedTV forum had a link to something we did, so we got hits from there. I wrote a Seb Bourdais blog, someone searching google for Bourdais clicked on, posted a link on a French forum, and I got hits from there.

I can see where from the link originated, and I bounce over and take a look. I may also post on that forum, but I never put links, except on TPL where I was given permission.

Red Andy and I link each other's sites and I have an RSS feed from the Run Off Area because I think it is a great bit of satrical humour.

I choose the USF1 Formula1 name because it has searchable elements. F1 and Formula1, etc. It helps.

I also own a couple of dozen other domain names so if the USF1 team bites the dust I will redirect the content............ :(

Of course I thought it must be a non-euro based surfer because all of those guys are asleep at this hour!
