I agree with Rob. Brawn knows something. Those two fellas are pretty cagey, but they do know each other, and they know better than anyone else in the business how to win, what the other guys are doing, and how to exploit any possible advantage.

I could not believe the intensity of Michael's emotions and confidence in his interviews. This is one mean and committed s of whatever.

His best race was his last in 2006, and he is looking to win.

Forget who is the fastest or whatever - Michael is easily as fast as anyone - he is out to prove something. In public he is conservative, and has said he expects to win one more WDC in three years. It is a development program that he and Ross went through before at Ferrari and will do again. They know what they are talking about.

I think he wants two, and I for one will not bet against that. Fernando won two titles with a great car, but also with tyres that were massively superior to the stones. We have yet to see those two go head to head on the same rubber.

You do not win 7 WDC titles on luck, and my money is on Michael. Just wish it was red colours.

How about ten WDCs.... after all, a fairly high percentage of his F1 records weigh in at around twice the next highest achiever....

OK, that's now utterly in the league of fantasy..... lol

If Schumacher wins the title I'll eat my hat. It's just talk.

I'd go and buy a tasty hat.

Slight fantasy Norbs, Shumi has one chance, maybe two to win another WDC, as much as he appears to be ageless, ultimately time will catch up w/ him. <wheelchair>

He'll probably just buy some of whatever it is that's keeping Bernie alive. Then he can go on FOREVER!

Besides which, Fangio won his last WDC at 47. Times have changed since then but it's a nice thought.

To be honest and only because of his age and the amount of time he has not raced, I would have worried if Ferrari had given him Massa or Alonso's seat.

I would not have been confident he could do as well as them. In his last season he did great but I could sense he was beginning to fade and that was well over 3 years ago. Gone had the times I knew he would win a race from just seeing the first lap.

So why everyone thinks he will wipe the floor with everyone in a Mercedes that won't necessarily be any quicker than the rest is surprising.
He is too good to not do well, but age is a factor now to produce the amount of race wins required for the WDC.

I feel sorry for Rosberg. Gets himself a good move in what should be a competitive car, and then Schumacher returns and everyone forgets that he even exists. Maybe Brawn should remember that he is employing two drivers?

LOL... give Ross some credit...

besides which, Ros berg should be able to cope regardless of his team mate... and besides he has been pretty anonymous ever since he joined F1, unlike say Kubica or Vettel, if he wants to be noticed he needs to make himself noticeable, he can do just that by beating his teammate regardless of who they are.

It is down to him.

He's beaten his teammate for the last 3 years.
