Michael Schumacher says Mercedes GP is ready for more success next season after visiting the team's Brackley headquarters last week.

Seven-time world champion Schumacher spent two days meeting Mercedes personnel and also spent time at Mercedes' engine factory in Brixworth. The Mercedes team, under the Brawn GP name, won both Formula One titles last year.

"I am extremely positively surprised about how motivated everybody was," said Schumacher on his official website. "This a world champion team but it does not seem to be spoiled by success at all; it seems to be hungry for more instead."

Schumacher, on his second visit to Brackley, spent time understanding how the engineers work and said he had learned a lot about the team and its working methods.

"It is important for me to be informed about everything and it was very interesting to get to understand the engineers and their structures and the way they work," he said. "I was there already around the time of the signature of the contract and learned a lot, now I have seen much more about the team."

Commenting on his Brixworth visit, Schuamcher said he was looking forward to working with German speaking personnel for the first time in his illustrious F1 career.

"I am very impressed about the high level you see there," he said. "In Brixworth the people seem to be highly motivated as well and I find that encouraging, as it perfectly fits my personal mood. What I also liked was that you hear a lot of people speaking German there.

"That is nice for once, I am not so much used to that at my work, and I find it quite convenient."

I hadn't really thought about that aspect as I still think of the team as Brawn... but with Mercedes moving personal in and two German speaking drivers I guess it would be more prevalent.
