http://www.f1fanatic.co.uk/wp-content/uplo...ooom_2010_2.jpg Well I was not keen on having him join a couple of seasons ago, but now I feel more confident with him at the wheel than I did when Kimi started his first season at Ferrari. Lets hope he doesn't prove my first thoughts were right. |

He looks comfortable ans well settled... I can't say I'm as keen of seeing Michael in grey/black/silver... but needs must. Alonso, I think, will have a cracking year... |

I've said since 2005 that Alonso was the most complete driver in F1, and had the better year between him and Shumi in 2006 (but not by much). Ferrari builds the right car Alonso will win the title, plus he will have the motivation so show up Maca somewhat and to prove that him beating Shumi in 06 was no fluke. Massa will be determined to show he is back and that him nearly winning the title in 08 was no fluke. Basically I think Ferrari will have 2 of the most motivated drivers in the field come March 14. |

If only Alonso had made the switch to Ferrari in 2007... I truly believe he would have one (if not two) more WDC's I fully understand Ferrari was not ready for him nor was he ready for them but still a missed opportunity. |

One title is a pretty safe bet, two, eh even money. But f1 is if backward.... |

funny enough I think you are right... 2007 although Kimi lifted the crown that was in part down to the self destruct at McLaren which would not have happened had Alonso gone to Ferrari so I reckon it is 50/50 he would have lifted the title, but the fact Massa came so close in 2008 leads me to believe Alonso would have nailed it. Last season even Alonso would have struggled against the Brawn machine... |

Though I love the entertainment of seeing sparks fly, lets hope Ferrari manages their drivers better than McLaren did, so we wont wittness e.g. another s l o w pitstop as Alonso famously pulled on Lewis and all turning to team-self-destruct. Will be very interesting to see how Massa makes his position and space clear to his new 'partner'. |

Two different animals.... I'd be surprised if Ferrari 2010 matched McLaren 2007... but if the same situation did occur than I would put Alonso coming out on top. |

Actually it will be interesting to see how well they do manage their drivers. Schumacher apart (he didn't need to be managed) their recent record is patchy; they've done ok with Massa but Rubens left in a strop and Kimi departed under a very expensive cloud. Alonso appears to be a guy who needs to feel loved and can be pretty demanding of the management. Can Ferrari keep him happy without alienating Massa? |

One could also turn it around and ask: Can Ferrari keep Massa happy without alienating Alonso? |

At least keeping Kimi happy just consisted of a well stocked fridge of ice cream and vodka. |
