I guess with roles reversed... Schumacher would not have welcomed Alonso on the pit wall if he was joining a new team...

I just wonder if Alonso will still prefer Schumacher in a Mercedes than on a Ferrari pit wall come the end of the season... <think>

Only if Hern Schumacher was in a standard comfy C220 on German autobahn A4 on his way back to retire for good in his homely Kerpen - Sindorf... <rolleyes>

<roflmao>

I still recon Alonso in the Ferrari (and Lewis in the McLaren) will be stronger than Schumacher in the BrawnMercedes, I'm not convinced Vettel in the Red Bull will be though

Me too. Schumacher is Schumacher but I doubt Ross Brawn have another rabbit in the hat.

He might no need to have another rabbit if Ferrari et al have don't produce better cars this year than they did last year ....

They don't need to. They have Alonso.

Ah yes - and if I remember rightly he brings six tenths of a second with him.

Nope, the reason for their steady decline over the past few years is entirely due to the driver who is being replaced by Senor Alonso. All will be well now (but not for Senor Massa).
