No, they don't but they do give an indication of the man's talent although not his application, which is all we ever doubted about Kimi.

Except that if you have more poles and fastest laps than you have wins, then it shows that your talent is for going backwards through the pack during races.

... or that you had, for many years, a particularly fragile, Adrian Newey designed, McLaren.

I don't think Kimi often went backwards during a race.

Raikkonen has always been a very fast driver imo. It just that he was only interested and good at jumping in the car and drive as fast as possible.
Unfortunately this was not quite enough to be a successful top driver and shown the door by Ferrari. He made a waste of himself in F1. I doubt he will ever come back and wish him plenty success in WRC. I won't miss him as much as JPM.
