Looks like Brawn have found out where they went awry.

Interesting to see Williams back on top!

Lewis damaged his car early in the session, so not a representative time, but I doubt he'd have been more than P5, given Kovi's performance. Kimi was complaining of wheel vibration, so might have done better than P11.

I can see the MS supporters club having even more of a field day!

Well, Badoer made a big improvment from the first session where he was roughly twice the 1.3s behind his Raikkonen in P2, and about 8 tenths further away from the front.

Just needs to shake off the remaining rust which would inevitably pile up after 10 years out of competitive acton, and having barely driven this year's car too.

Well, I have little doubt that MS would have been closer to the pace than Badoer. However, how much closed than that is open to debate. After all, the bookies were giving 16/1 on him getting pole! I doubt that was a realistic goal, but I would suspect he'd have been doing a little bit better.

Obviously, but hopefully people have a bit of realism and don't expect Badoer to be doing the same times as Schumacher might have done.

I believe had Schumacher been in the car he would have been inconsistent at first and may have had a moment or two, since he has been out for two and half years too. Something like Alonso, who was clearly pushing far too hard today, as Heidfeld will confirm. <roflmao>

Why? It's not like there is anything that can be done about it. Shumi is unable to drive, just like Massa.

Obviously in a perfect world Massa would be racing right now, that not being possible I would have liked to see Shumi in the car, again circumstances make that impossible, so Badoer is who we have right now and I being a Ferrari fan hope all the best for him.

You reckon? Is it because Brawn GP are on the pace again ;)

Well, that and the fact that MS's replacement is hardly coming close to emulating the former champion's achievements

Neither has anyone else, why should Lucca be singled out. <thumbsup>
