In his actions, Alonso not only penalised Lewis (temporarily) and himself (by his 5 place grid drop) but also the entire team (when they were docked their constructors points for the weekend). I seem to remember Alonso taking the law in to his own hands in previous years when he went out and intentionally blocked a driver who accidentally blocked him. There is no room for that kind of behaviour in a sport that is already very dangerous.

Just the sort of guy that Ferrari would be prepared to drop Kimi for while he still has a contract.

Things have changed since 2007, and it has been widely acknowledged that the disaster at McLaren was caused by failures on all sides. Alonso would get on much better at Ferrari, I feel.

The latest rumour is that Ferrari are trying to transfer Kimi's contract to the Fiat team that are looking to enter the WRC.

Maybe they could team him up with Kallio in MotoGP?

<roflmao>

having said that, FIAT sponsor Yamaha, maybe he'd prefer to go with Rossi instead?

I am sure there are more links on this subject of Kimi racing for Fiat in the WRC, plus the fact Luca is pushing for 3 cars. Ferrai has made up their mind to get the "ugly" boy (according to some) on board for next year.

Surely some will be fearing Alonso kicking some buts in a Ferrari next year or next as Ferrari can't again start with a dog of a car.

Over the past 15 or so years, they've rarely been off two years in a row. Kimi even won a race in that dreadful 04 car. They'll be on the shap end I think, and they have a damn goo ddriver, so they cannot be counted out.
