...obviously you've not checked the final results mate

becuase i've got news for you, THAT'S ALL THAT MATTERS!

But that doesn’t mean we can’t dispute how they came about does it?

Just like we can’t dispute that karma caught up with MS at Silverstone 99

He got what he deserved that day

Nah, silverstone 99 was a very unfortunate incident and, thankfully, he fully recovered (and got caught playing footie when he was supposed to be recuperating).

I would suggest that karma was 2005.

i was actually at that race

there was a big feeling that justice had been done

whether that's right or wrong. had the man been punished properly in the first place, those feelings would not have existed and there would have been alot more sympathy

Yes, his stats are mighty impressive and will probably hold as records for some time.....................

Hamilton 45 races, 10 wins!

Schumi’s first 45 races, 8 wins! (and most of them were due to the illegal 94 Bennetton)

I do feel that it is harsh to say that Schumi deserved his injuries. No-one wants to see a driver injured. To me, karma is being caught in the act and being made to look foolish because of your actions.

Anyone got some change for the parking meters at la rascase?

Would that be the one that passed scrutineering for every race?

<roflmao>

(and yes, we all know they fiddled the fuel rig)

Of course, Hamilton's first few wins were for Ferrari, too.

No need to peek... I believe I did say almost unachievable... it does not matter who breaks his records as to do so will take a big talent and so a deserving talent...

Lewis has the ability in bucket loads <thumbsup>

You could make the argument that the 2007/8 McLaren was a more competitive car then the 92/3 Benetton but I hardly think it’s worth bringing facts into the debate because in Schumi’s case they are roundly ignored

I was going to mention that he wasn't hand-groomed for a decade by a top team who financed his entire career and stuck him in the equal best car on the grid for his first race, but I figured you'd get shirty if I mentioned it....

Didn’t Mercedes used to sign cheques for Schumi as well?? Another fact nicely missed…

An irrelevant one here, but yes they did. He drove sportscars for them with HH-F and Karl Wendlinger.

Well, yeah, MS was a member of the Merc junior team and was pretty much developed by them, so Lewis is hardly an unprecidented case. Of course, you could go further back and look at Prost who was funded by Elf and Renault.
