John! How could you change my writing without permission. <nono>

<think> I didn't change your writing... YOUR post seems to be perfectly in tact...

I on the other hand however merely corrected a statement which as I saw it was an over simplication... the short lived news that Schumacher was returning brought Formula 1 fans (not just Schumacher fans) out in the hope to see a legend of the sport return however brief...

<thumbsup>

On the Schumacher news. It’s excellent news for Formula, we can go back to concentrating on racing rather concentrating on some washed up cheat.

Justice has prevailed

The fact is Schumi wasn’t up to it, not physically and I don’t believe mentally either

We’ve seen him suffer mental issues in the past, most alarmingly at Monaco where he parked his car on the track to prevent other drivers beating his quali time, that shows that he was worried he would be beaten, he was insecure in his own abilities, he knew he didn’t have it in him to be the fastest so he cheated, I think he’s suffering some similar issues regarding his ‘come back’

Why? Badoer is one of the only links to Ferrari that I don’t particularly dislike. He was an F3000 champion when it was a competitive series, he has tested thousands of miles for Ferrari in a largely thankless job, he’s always been in the wrong place at the wrong time when it comes to big f1 breaks, surely if anyone in the history of Formula 1 deserves a one off shot at glory, it must be Badoer

Yeah, like Stradlin I am happy to see Badoer take the seat he deserves for Valencia. Hopefully he will finish in the points and finally remove that awful tag of being the most experienced F1 driver never to score a point.

Shame about Michael, but at least we will remember him for his champion drive at Brazil in 2006, rather than whatever embarrassment may have happened to him at Valencia.

Will anyone mind if he gets a test?? <sarcasm>

Come on a test driver who is not fast enough replacing Massa is not exciting at all.

F1 needs the best of the best.

Hopefully he does crap and Ferrari find someone else.

Kimi will be sleeping again <huh>

It could have been Géne... younger than Badoer, better record in F1, and last drove in 2004 as opposed to 1999 for Luca...

However, Badoer it is... I'm sure he will give it his best... good news for the championship contenders all the same.

I agree 100%

[size0]like the embarrassment of the current drivers been beaten by a 40 year old retired driver...
