I'm Irish and barely speak English correctly... I'd be lost without Dictionary.com Translator.

amusing story about the Irish expression 'Craic'... is often used to describe a good night out or ask where the best places are as in "we had great craic last night in so and so" or "where can I find the best craic tonight" However apparently there was a lot of young Irish people being arrested in the early 1990's in New York as people over hearing these expressions thought they where doing drug deals... I wasn't there so cannot verify the validity of the story. |
