Oh, and good work Frank. Finally I can forgive you for booting out Nigel and Damon.

Frank has just got shooting up in my estimations as well. The old git has still got a bit of fight in him yet

Lets also not forget Frank is one of the few privateer’s left. Good old Frank

He’s had the last laugh with BMW and now he’s foiled Schumacher

Things looking up for t’old lad. Pity his cars aren’t winning

Did Frank not admit last year that he made a big mistake with not keeping BMW sweet?

I am sure i heard something about that.

I take my hat off to Frank tho as it is great to have him still in F1.

Some amazing times Williams had in the 80's and 90's

We should really <clap> Frank as great names in the past have failed to stay in F1

schumacher's tactics robbed his team of drivers championship in 94

No, his driver's suicidal lunge into a gap that was never going to be there when he arrived at the apex of the corner did.

However, for 97 you are correct.

<thumbsup>

Agree totally.

97 was poor effort by Schumacher but so was 1990 for Senna.

All Champions make mistakes.

He might have done but I bet he’s feeling a hell of a lot sweeter than BMW are now! Frank’s in it for the racing, it’s clear BMW were not

he’s out lasted them after they tried to become bigger then him and he has now foiled Schumi’s attempt to bend the rules (again)

Frank must be having a good chuckle to himself. And your right, Frank does deserve a lot of respect, he’s given a lot too F1 and is still alive and kicking today when so many more from his era have left, it’s good to see

You see you are soooooooooo perdictable that I knew you would do that, so much so that way back when you made the following statement in another thread I had to save it for just an occasion as this.

But I don’t count cheating John.

Why are you getting yourself so worked up about it? You’ve already said “get a life you saddo” Just chill out. I’m not going to get into trading insults with you. You’ve made the first personal attack on me and I’m not going to reduce myself to your level. Just calm down mate, the last thing we want is for you to get banned

I'm chilled after all I'm in he right... <thumbsup>

You wishing to embellish your own statements after the event won't wash... The final results stand... your inability to accept simple truth is a matter for you to resolve...

I am quite happy with the reality that Schumacher IS indeed a 7 time F1 WDC... <bow>

I love the banter between u2.

Just lets wait until after M Schumachers first race.

Maybe we will all be very impressed or not by his performance.

If M Schumacher does do very well it would be difficult to not be impressed but we will wait and see.

I can’t dispute results but what I can dispute is how those results came to be, no matter how final they are.

And the fact is whether you like it or not that some of Michaal Schumachers results have come about by blatant cheating

You seem to have a major problem with anyone saying anything slightly negative about Michael Schumacher, almost as if you are his guardian angel. I cannot help you on that one, if that is the way you chose to conduct youself then that’s completely up to you, go for it.

You also seem to fail to understand a joke, which is what the caption competition is supposed to be. You leave me with no choice now but to report that post as a personal attack and quite a major one.

I’ve tried to calm you down but it seems to have failed.

Come on, let's keep it friendly... ish!

<thumbsup>

Frank has a history of spats with drivers and suppliers, hence him losing Honda, Mansell, Prost, Hill, Villeneuve and BMW. However, he does also seem to have a knack of keeping his team alive through impossible seeming situations, which you have to have great respect for.

Yup, his return has made the next race unmissable regardless of result. Until today I was just pleased to hear he was getting a race, I have no expectations beyond a few points or a podium, however now I will just be happy if he finished ahead of the Williams Boys <devil>

To be fair, seeing as Frank turned his back on FOTA, he's not obliged to vote with them, and is perfectly entitled to refuse MS permission to test. That said, I bet if he ever asks FOTA for dispensation in soemthing, he's burned his bridges good and proper. But Frank will survive. He always does.

I was thinking that as well, As much as it’s a dig at MS he has also probably annoyed FOTA

Franks Frank though
