Three podiums, two of those in the last two races. They're definitely moving forward.

3 actually and two of them in the last two races with the last race a second place so Ferrari are heading in the right direction... <thumbsup>

opps Andy beat me to it <doh>

If Kimi cant beat Schumi he should retire, even someone as brilliant as Michael surely cant beat the highest paid man in f1 after a 3 year break.

Where's the option for cheat?

Or sour grapes ;)

Maybe.

It has often been said that the way Shoemaker conducted himself on-track left a bitter taste in all but those most fanatical of supporters mouth.

So, yes. Like a cheap wine.

For me Kimi will be beat by Schumacher.

Massa has shown Kimi the way since 2007 and i expect M Schumacher to do the same.

Massa and Schumacher were pretty close in 2006 when it came to quali but just remember how good Schumacher was come race day.

I would be amazed if Kimi beat Schumacher but will Schumacher play second fiddle to Kimi as he is a stand in??

Jim, I disagree. Since 2006 much has changed. Massa has improved, while Schumacher will inevitably have declined. I could easily see Raikkonen getting the better of Schumacher, in fact I will surprised if he does not.

And of course, Ferrari scored a podium in Hungary too. I forget things easily, it seems. <blush>

It seems Michael may get to drive the 2009 spec F60 this weekend...

FOTA says 'yes' to Schumacher test

Shows good solidarity. I wonder if Max will be so keen on the idea.

Seems only fair.

What a stupid sport F1 would be if the very machine he is supposed to race in is not made available to him to test his current lap times.

You could have independent stewards ensuring no team advantage is taken and that the test is for Shumi only and not the running of the car.

I know its obvious he and Ferrari would hit the ground running, but the amount they have done since announcing the agreement is breathtaking............and there is still another 23 days to go <bounce>

Maybe STR has lesser expectations on the replacement for Bourdais, however given STR is the only team with zero points I would have thought they need it most... how much does an average F1 test day cost, maybe STR just didn't have the money to test their replacement <think>

I think it was EJ that said "everyone will be pleased to see him back"

i'm sorry but that's not the case. i'm quite saddened that he's back to honest

I have no time at all for cheats and Scumacher is a consistent cheat who has also put other drivers lives at risk by making cheating moves, that is unnacceptable

it would be like Cristiano Ronaldo returning to the EPL, world class player that he is, he is also a serial cheat and the EPL is better off without his type and the same goes for scumacher

at a time when the FIA are under huge scrutiny the last thing the sport needs is the biggest cheat in it's history to return and get up to his old tricks again, this is dangerous for f1

statistically the most successful driver ever but the best? no way, not even close....wouldn't get in my top 5 to be honest

my big concern is that at a time when the series needs stability we could see another wave of shabby scummi tactics that influence the next generation of races, i fear that greatly

together with the Massa incident, this is a sad sad time for F1

Is your hate for Schumacher just because it was Hill he hit??

Most top drivers make mistakes and do try their best even if that means pushing the limits of racing to achieve their goals.

Look at Senna

I have ALOT of respect for Senna but he was worse than M Schumacher to be honest.

Rossi in Moto Gp has had a few hard races and has hit other riders but we do not hear about him either.

I really feel when it comes to racing a man when so intent on winning and having a spilt decision to make his mind up can make a wrong call but when your talking about a F1 World Championship you can understand that a HUMAN being can make mistakes.

If you want to talk about cheats just look at the athletics or sports like the Tour de France.

We remember with passion great drivers from the past but unlike today their every move was not shown on tv or the internet over and over again.

You have to take risks and be ruthless if you want to be successful in any job you do whether its F1 or a company you own.

M Schumacher is a 7 times World Champion which takes skill, luck, aggression and pure desire to win.

As for putting drivers lives at risk i can not remember one move M Schumacher did that would have killed a fellow driver.
