Who do you feel will be driving for Ferrari in 2010?? Kimi is out of contract. Massa might not be fit. Alonso looks likely to take Kimi's drive but what about Massa? Could Kubica join Ferrari or will M Schumacher drive another year so Massa can race in the future? |

Cannot imagine Shumi will be driving next year for the entire season. Alonso and Massa. If Massa cannot drive Kubica and Heidfeld could be possible, or even Buemi. Rossberg with an outside chance. |

Buemi? More chance of Badoer in the seat in my view...... Raikkonen and Massa could well stay together, depending on how the next few races go. Raikkonen has shown better form this year, and if he wants to stay and is willing to take a modest pay cut, I could definitely see Ferrari handing him a new deal. Alonso will try to wing his way into one of the seats, but don't assume he'll be successful. |

Badoer? Let's see, born January 25, 1971, that would make him 39 years old next year, and he never scored a point in 48 races. I don't think so! |

What if Algeursuari turns out to be handy this year? Remind me which engine is in the back of his car?

Both Kimi and Felipe are under contract until the end of 2010 I said in another thread that Kubica could be a good bet if Felipe doesn't return. I can't see MS staying on for another year - especially as it seems likely that Kimi won't be there (unofficially) and Nando will. |

Most of the F1 paddock now believe that Alonso is Ferrari bound. The most common story is that he has a contract for 2011, with an option for 2010 depending on performance clauses in Raikkonen's contract. James Allen said recently that it is believed that Raikkonen fulfilled his performance clauses at the German GP, so he may well stay at Ferrari in 2010, unless Ferrari want to buy him out (which is unlikely as it would cost them in the region of £20m, plus another £20m or so for Alonso's salary). According to Joe Saward this week, Kubica has many options for 2010 but may wait before signing for anyone as it is still unclear whether Massa will be able to return to Ferrari. If he doesn't then Kubica could be in with a shout there, although Ferrari would probably take up Alonso's option in that case. |

That was just to make the point that Buemi in the seat would have been exceptionally unlikely. However, I had hoped Badoer would get a race in Massa's absence, but they gave it to Schumacher instead. Also, he drove his 48 races for Scuderia Italia, Forti and Minardi, three very slow teams. So it's not really fair to criticise him for not scoring in those cars, bearing in mind he raced in an era with 26-car grids and only the top 6 scoring points. |

Was it Badoer who almost got a podium in the Minardi until it broke down and then he cried? |

It was 4th place, but other than that, spot-on: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1999_European_Grand_Prix |

I agree about the teams he was with and the fields he raced in. I have always admired his value to Ferrari. A steady driver who can drive a consistent lap is necessary to evaluate the changes in set-up etc. He must also be good in de-brief mode. Also agree about Buemi, I never even considered him in the picture. |
