Piquets reveals the reason for his poor form; Race seat not secure

Maybe they should put some extra screws in it. Nothing worse than your seat slipping under braking.

In fairness, Alonso is #1 driver in every possible sense of the word at Renault. Considering Alonso has had a better car than Piquet for several races this year and considering also how close the field is at present, Piquet's performances have been not too bad since his awful race in China. Since that it's been solid if unspectacular. I doubt Grosjean would really be much of an improvement. If they do make the switch, they should do it at the end of the year so Grosjean at least gets adequate preperation.

I think Piquet's biggest problem is his teammate. Piquest would look a lot better against Fisi or Heidfeld.
