No Prodrive. Maybe the FIA had reservations after their failure to put together an F1 entry last time around. Otherwise no surprises really. So the saga continues for at least another week.... |

So the FIA has accepted the 'conditional' entries after all... what if they do not change their stance. will they be dropped after June 19 and have the teams not allocated entry been tole to wait the outcome...

The FIA press release also has no '*' after either the Ferrar, RBR and STR teams so it seems their entry is seen by the FIA as being unconditional... something Ferrari themselves has refuted |

They have effectively extended the deadline another week. But having failed to make an agreement before today I don't see what difference another week will make. I always thought FOTA would back down, now it seems maybe they will not. |

Ferrari, Red Bull and STR all signed a contract back in 2005 that committed them to F1 until 2012, so the FIA has accepted their entries as unconditional because according to them, they cannot withdraw. The other five teams (the former GPMA manufacturers) only signed a memorandum of understanding, which is not binding and therefore the FIA has no choice but to regard their entries as conditional and respond accordingly. |

So basically the FIA have ignored the comments by Ferrari they they see their entry as conditional and had asked the FIA to publish on that basis... Max playing games again... interesting to hear Ferrari's response to their being listed as unconditional |

Ferrari, Red Bull and Torro Rosso have all issued statement confirming their entries for 2010 ARE conditional and are fully committed to the FOTA objectives... Over to you Max... |

I am convinced now that FOTA is determined not to let Max dictate as such and won't allow Bernie to collect as much. I have the feeling that the list is not going to be final. I don't see 19th of June being settlement day. Fota will stay put and God only knows the final outcome of this saga. Nice to see a Spanish and US team there for a change. |

Max is clearly trying the old "divide and conquer" tactic here. Amazing what you can achieve with a few asterisks. Pity about Prodrive, though

I thought that. Truly Max is very transparent. On the plus side though I am deeeeeelighted to see that Cosworth will be back on the grid next year. And rightly so. They should never have been away and if Max followed his own rules they wouldn't have been. Any team with a Cosworth motor in the back will be my second team, after Williams. |
