After 10 laps i for the first time i can remember, fell asleep during the race and woke just as button won.

Well done Button, I came on here to see if i had missed much, but as this and other forums are close to deserted I reckon i didn't miss much :s

Felt pretty sorry for Rubens after seeing him in the post-race interviews. Poor guy was close to tears. Things just aren't going his way, I hope he hangs in there though.

Well done Button (again), shockingly bad race though. At a track where cars are meant to be able to overtake too.

absolutely awesome that a brit won the 6th out of 7. however i'm torn. as much as this pleases me the races will soon be a formality if jenson wins a few more. so red bull and williams please speed up the development. all the overtaking is happening mid field! we started well then everyone developed a little and now were settled into the same routine. and for f***s sake mclaren turn your attention to next year! i need my team to perform! a thought on rubens- stop making sugestive comments about favourtiism we can all read between the lines you speak but its bollocks. lets not forget you f***ed your start so lack of 7th is almsot irrelevant! and just so you all know i will be in attendance in two weeks. hangar straight baby have it!

What I liked about today:

DC & Brundle sitting on the track gazing at Turn 1
Jens winning, obv
Webber finishing in front of Vettel
Rubens dodgem car drive

Not so much:

EJ & DCs' white trainers
Poor attendance
KERS

Hope JB continues winning streak at Silverstone. Poor Rubens, he'll def be taking a back seat now...

I think we can call the title chace a formality at this point, the only real question is how many races will Button/Brawn win. I still say Button could be on pace th threaten Shumi's records of podiums in a season and wins in a season. Brawn could eclipse McLaren's 88 season.

Can anyone remember a season where the winning team came from so far back the previous year? If Ferrari was winning everything that would be predictable and therefore boring. But the sight of a Brawn winning everything is so remarkable that I don't care if Jenson wins all the races.

Well Jensons not going to win all the races, he's already one down. Even as a long time supporter I am still amazed that he's won 6. I did expect him to dominate Rubens but not so completely.

Rubens has one last chance to save some dignity IMO because he's done well at Silverstone in the past, but after that I suspect his confidence might take a nose dive he doesn't put on a good show.

I know it's not all Jenson, he has a great car under him. Not necessarily the out and out best because the RBR should be tripping its heals but as a team RBR are doing themselves no favours.

I could however see Jenson on the podium at every race.

At the moment for me I admit a concern regarding the predictability of each race is jeopardizing the sport/season although it's great to see someone i have supported for so long that everyone else was so dismissive of, coming good. Each race I'm hoping to see a challenge from someone, but it is looking a bit easy right now.

Glad at least to see Jenson has won several races from non pole and that it hasn't always been so straight forward.
