Well done Vettel, going to be interesting to see if the Brawns can stay with you.

Good luck for the race.

Great to see someone else on the pole (even though it hurts my predictions ;) )
The shocker, of course, is Lewis. Even though he says the car is 'crap', he should still be faster than Heikki. I mean, Heikki's qualifying spots have stayed fairly consistant with this car while Lewis' are either great or terrible.

Now, the big question is what are the weights and the possible first pit-stop windows. That'll tell us a ton about how this race will need to be run.

Regarding weights I suspect that Vettel will be marginally light. The times have been so close all weekend with the top five often covered by less than 1tenth, that's the difference between Vettel and Button, and Webber is 3 tenths back. A big margin for team mates in of fairly equal ability this season.

I predict Rubens will get a good shot off the line being on the clean side. But I hope not. However, RBR are not known for their great starts.

I didn't expect Massa to be on pole, but to see him in 7th is pretty disappointing (and behind Raikkonen too, albeit only by four hundreths).I hope there's a good amount of fuel on board that Ferrari.

Barrichello did well with no running until halfway through Q3 to pull out such a good lap. Could this be the race he finally beats Button? Let's hope so, and hopefully Webber has a good race too to keep the title race interesting.

Trulli is my driver of the day though, an excellent effort.

I agree, he put in some really feisty laps and he's on the better side of the track for the start.

Got a feeling that Rubens will take the lead at the start. Looking forward to seeing the weights but I agree that the RBs are probably a couple of laps lighter than the Brawns. At least it seems that Vettel won't get stuck behind a Ferrari for most of the race.

I'm hoping that Webber will finally get a maiden victory tomorrow

I hope Hammy drives well to fight up the field, but I'm not sure if he's got the will for it this year!

Weights are everything and for me the RedBull of Vettel will be alot lighter than the Brawns.

We have seen this alot from Redbull and Vettel.

I will eat my hat if Vettel is not pitting at least two laps earler than the Brawns.

How hard did Vettel have to work in the Redbull compaired to Button in the Brawn

For me it will be Button to win again.

So, Alonso very light but still only managed 8th. Webber did well to get in front of quali expert Trulli with a heavier fuel load.

Does look like Button is the winner there. A lot heavier than Vettel, but only a bit lighter than Webber, but marginally heavier than his teammate.
Guess it's mixed feelings for Rubens who had a difficult session.

Great session for Sutil to split the Mclarens.

Is it just me or have RBR got the strategy wrong here. Shouldn't they have gone light in Monaco? Or did they I can't remember now.

I don't think a light strategy is going to work here, he'll pop out probably behind something heavy and slow with KERS ;)

Poor fuel choice for Lewis. Whats the point of loading the car with a tankful?

Better to do the Alonso model. Go light, get near the front.
