Looks like I'm the only one who actually wants a Brawn 1,2

I'm sure Ross, Jenson and Rubens all do.

And I make it 5.

Although it's true to say that some non KERS cars have found it difficult to pass KERS cars, JB has done and won the race as a result of doing so. Something Vettel struggled with and quite possible lost races because of.

KERS is not invincible. I also think a clever use of super softs in Monaco gave the Brawns a good start against the KERS of Kimi, though I suspect the actual start there was not really conducive to KERS. Just my opinions though.

I'll make that 6. As long as Rosberg comes 3rd :-)

Yes, but covering places 1-22 needs few more than that.....

I'd be more than pleased with a Brawn in 1st place and a Brawn in 22nd place (in Jenson's favour naturally)

Wouldn't KERS off the line cause a excess power surge and more likely lead to wheel spin negating its impact. We don't have traction control.

Thats right, KERS power off the line is a waste, for the reason you've mentioned. But the longer distance before the first turn that Turkey provides, allows the KERS cars to get upto speed and activate the boost to make places.

Kimi mentioned that when explaining why he couldn't get past the Brawns or even hold his place in Monaco at the start.

That and the fact that he was on the dirty side of the track.

KERS gives maximum torque at zero RPM, which should give the KERS cars a huge advantage off the line, that is why I believe it's restricted to over 100kph. I suppose there could be a wheelspin factor, but the fact that the torque would come more quickly from the KERS than the petrol engine would give the KERS cars a big advantage, provided they had the grip.
