Ok its all pie in the sky but do you think RB will be at Brawn next year?? Jenson Button for sure will be but will RB? RB has been very impressive this year and to be honest a great driver but as with Schumacher he is a no2. For me it would be hard to let RB go esp if he continues to perform well but what do you think?? Will RB retire?? Is a young driver too much of a risk?? Who do you feel could replace RB?? |

I think it all down to RB and how he feels if he wants to do another year let him it is not like he not trying he also be great for him to to run brawn new driver program or some thing like that Mark |

Rubens is the only driver on the F1 grid who was in the sport back in 1993 - the last year before refuelling was re-introduced. With refuelling banned again for 2010, maybe Rubens' experience in that regard will give him a better chance of having the seat. Or maybe not. |

I wouldn't sack him, but Ruben's has loss a step in the past 5 years. I'd like to see him take the win at Brazil and hang them up. |

I think Rubens will stick around for another year (if he can). I hope so -he's the only driver older than me so when he's gone I know I'm totally over the hill! |

I for one am not bothered if Rubens did not see out the whole of 2009 season with Brawn GP, let alone 2010 So looking forward to a Rubens free 2010 I wonder who Ross could get in order to be a fully British team...

Di Resta? Davidson? Maybe even Adam Carroll, he was a Honda baby back in the day.... But I think Brawn are more likely to go with heads over hearts and pick a driver based on talent rather than nationality. |

For me i can think of a few drivers. Bruno Senna,Rosberg or maybe even Hamilton. Brawn really were impressed with Bruno Senna. Rosberg is falling out of favor with Williams Lewis and Mclaren are still not getting on but Lewis to Brawn would be a very long shot. As Silverstone pointed out Sutil in the right car could impress. Buemi is a star but i feel Red Bull will be holding onto him. |

Well if it was my team I would be very tempted to keep things are they are, Rubens a great - setter - upper of the car .. Otherwise I would consider Sutil, he is better than most people think & has a clutch of sponsors..

Personally I will be very surprised if the Brawn is one of the cars to be in by the end of the season, let alone next year. I just don't think they have the budget or the potential of getting the budget and I can envisage Red Bull, Ferrari & McLaren in particular being quicker then the Brawn by the end of the season. Could be wrong ... hope I am ... but I think Jenson may regret tying himself down to a long term contract with Brawn GP. |

Petra has a good point as Virgin appears very hesitant and with the current finacial crisis worldwide sponsors don't queue anymore. So, I dare saying this, if Ferrari quit F1, Mr Botin and Santander might take their millions to Brawn with Alonso. I am sure Brawn will be delighted and Button and Alonso could work together very well indeed. But I still believe, Ferrari will continue... But I see no problem in Rubens continuing due to his great experience.

Without knowing the contract situations off the top of my head, I'd like to see Clock, Webber, or Nicco partner Jenson. All have shown potential in slower cars, and as I have said befrom I think getting results in a crap car is overated compared to getting the most out of a really good car. I'd like to see what they can do. |

I suspect Brawn will continue with Button and Barrichello next year, barring a drop off in form on the part of Rubens. As it is, the team is working well, Button is leading it with Barrichello keeping him pretty honest. The perfect combination, I'd say. |
