Well done Jenson for a great race. I'm not sure but I think you got the hat trick? Pole; Fastest Lap; Race win. Putting to bed any doubt on Rubens part that he actually isn't good enough to beat Jenson who needs no contract to subdue him. Not so sure about the fastest lap, but his was the last one I saw pop up on screen. Edit* Must have been all those chicanes he cut 01 F. Massa Ferrari 1:15.154 02 J. Button Brawn 1:15.190 03 M. Button is the new M Schumacher for Rb. Just too quick for Rb to beat. I take my hat off to Button. So happy for him. First British driver i have ever supported. Qualifying on Sat at Monaco showed us all that Button is very likely to win the Championship

I like him a hell of a lot more than Lewis. Button has endured a lot and everyone, including me, at some time or another has wondered if he would ever even win a race in F1 let alone have a chance for the bigger prize. None of the top teams have ever even mentioned him as a potential driver, he has quietly (after the contracts saga) got on with it. Last year the only time a microphone was thrust at him was for some ar$e of an ITV commentator to ask what he thought of Lewis, the only question ITV ever seemed to ask had Lewis in it. I take my hat off to him, he's done the best anyone could have done in that car. With the other teams getting up to speed, i look forward to the next races to see how he handles better drivers than the ageing JB driving equal or better equipment. For now he deserves to bask in the lime light, he is not arrogant and so far has not said anything that wouldn't endear the public to him. I can support Button and genuinely be happy for him without shouting it from the roof tops, something i think most of us are happy to do after the ITV bling coverage of last year. |

Miserable Lewis is slightly doing my head in. You haven't got the best car now, but life really could be worse, get over it! I agree that Jenson is more likeable. How classic was his jog to the podium? |

I suspect his fitness level is really helping him over his team mate! |

I'm loving it that Jenson is doing so well, hectrul deserves it. How magnanamous of Lewis to congratulate him though - perhaps he's realizing the struggle Jenson's had with crap cars |

Jenson in his prime beating a 37 year old? If Jenson wasn't beating Rubens he'd be taking a rightful lashing in the media. |

It's not that Button's faster than Barrichello; he just takes care of his tyres better. I'm not complaining, those are the rules and all that, but if we didn't have these tyre rules the last two races would have been much closer. |

I do too but I must confess that I am finding Lewis much more likeable this year. I think that this season will knock some corners off the lad and will stand him in good stead for the rest of what will almost certainly be a stellar career. |

Me too...... and he's more consistent during a race - and vitally - more able to produce whats required at those crticial moments where races are won and lost. |

Well Rubens has generally been faster in Q2 but when they have to put fuel in Button is better. JB is puting together a quality classy season to say the least, its weird in that its fairly close in terms of competition but no one except the Brawns have any consistency. |

At least Rubens can't bleat about Team Orders after this last weekend. Jensen beat him like a gong. So that's 5 out of 6 races that Jensen has won after fighting for the wooden spoon for year after year and winning one race (mostly thanks to the rest of the field falling off). Same driver, different car, different team boss. Kinda takes the shine off another WDC who had Brawn calling the shots. |

Over the race weekends, pace has been pretty equal between the two. Button has just done good qualifying laps when it has counted, and then used his tyres better in the race. In Spain, for example, you cqan't argue Rubens' pace wasn't better, he just suffered with the strategy he got. Malaysia, he was unlucky in qualifyng. Australia, got a bad start etc. Barrichello is making more errors but for me the fundemental pace to chellenge Button is there. |
