I see it this way:

why not take his money and not let him give it Brawn

and try and put Brawn out of money so they can not update there car due to the lack of money

what happened to the Duracell deal?

At Barcelone, Jens and Rubeo were wearing Duracell caps and today they were back to Brawn GP ones.

Anyone got any info?

Duracell was always a one off deal. Branson wants title sponsorship for Brawn, but Brawn will not accept his offer.
They have far more valuable deals on offer

Surely by now Brawn can get whatever they ask from anyone interested in having their name on the car. However, I think they better act soon. McLaren and Ferrari are closing, Red Bull are very close, and if Brawn suddenly end up behind those three, the appeal of an apparently near-invincible car with your choice of anywhere for your logo will quickly be forgotten when it isn't right at the front. Maybe if they sign now, they'll have the money to stay ahead. If they drop behind, they'll lose their chance of the money to stay infront....

It was. And apparently a certain corporation declined to show the British Grand Prix as a result of them refusing to take the logo off of the car. Or, at least, so the story goes....
