"We had a choice to mete out a time penalty or 10 grid places in the next Grand Prix race. We opted for the former and handed a time penalty of 25 seconds," Thathi added, offering no explanation for why the stewards felt it necessary to impose the severest punishment available to them.

Which one would you choose?

Personally, a 10 grid would have done far less damage to the sport.

I'd have given a grid drop, as it wouldn't have called the race result into question and we wouldn't have been thinking that it was such a farce.

Well, if that wasn't enough evidence that the stewards were gunning for Hamilton. It is odd, Valencia, Ferrari commit a dangerous infringement in the pits, yet are merely fined. Hamilton commits a marginal infringement (if at all) on track and is hammered by the severest penalty without DQing the driver. The fact that the driver passed didn't actually finish anyway, seems to escape the attention of the stewards as well as ignoring every other previously set precident in F1. Oh dear, F1 is really going to rat sh*t.

Yeah, I know.

But its like you know you re going to be sacked from a job cause the big boss doesnt like your boss and having tired sacking your boss and failed, he turns on you

nothing you can do about it. Logic, reasoning count for nothing in personal vendettas as the MaClarn withhunt seems to be.

That option doesn't exist due to the fact that Lewis didn't need to leave the track....
