I wouldn't have expected them to make an announcement on supporting Massa. We haven't seen Macca saying that Kovi will drive for Hamilton either. The decision will be made within the team, and Kimi will have to buy into it.

Domenicali is just dead-batting a question.

Team orders is such a joke in F1.

It is plain to see Kov would NEVER be aloud to take the Championship from Lewis.

Mclaren and Ron Dennis must think we are all stupid.

Saying that Mclaren have Lewis winning the Championship and Ferrari taking points out of each other.

Mclaren have a better chance of the Drivers title because of these team orders

Despite many good qualifying postions including yesterday, I don't think we've seen Kovi come close to helping Lewis, except on one occassion.

I'd hardly call that kind of support Rubens gave michael.

Raikkonen surely cannot win the title from here. Even with Hamilton's penalty, he's 19 behind Hamilton and 17 behind Massa, with five races to go. Unless Massa has some very dodgy races from here on in, it must be his turn to lead the team's challenge this year.

Well, that is bad news for ferrari, unless they have fixed their wet weather deficiencies by then.

Cheeky.

Let's be straight, Ferrari struggle in the wet, discounting contrived results. ;)

If it rains at monza, Hamilton and McLaren will be difficult to stop.

they will be easy to stop.. just take 3 faceless blokes in suits in a darkened room and ask them to make sure McLaren don't win. <grrr>

I agree. Lewis may yet suffer the sort of problem Alonso had in 2005 and 2006 - a teammate who is too slow to be of any real use in helping him win the championship.

However, the longer Ferrari continue to back both horses, so to speak, in their title challenge, the longer Lewis can hope that they will take points off one another and allow him to win the title.

This reminds me of 1986 where the williames battled away and prost snuck in and won the title at the last race, complements of a 200MPH blowout, and the fact that williams didn't use team play to wrap up the title early.

Don't forget that Piquet made a precautionary stop to change tyres while leading. If he'd stayed out and the tyres had held out he would have been champion instead of Prost.

Though if williams had heeded what had happened to rosberg's mclaren nd brought mansell in, then may be mansell would have beeen champion.
