If yesterday's decision damaged the sport, what will damage the sport even more is if a group of loudly protesting McLaren fans manage to get the result of a Grand Prix changed, simply because the stewards have made a decision that they do not agree with. And I say this as someone who is against Hamilton's penalty in the GP yesterday.

the slight difference is that this time it isnt only maclarn fans - its ferrari fans as well.

The FIA should be answerable to its fans. This is a manifestation of that desire.

For the first time ever, formula 1 is the big topic this morning at work….

Sadly, for all the wrong reasons….

No one has said a word about the actual racing…

In that case stir the topic of discussion towards Andy Murray entering the US Open final <thumbsup>

No one here cares about tennis

I’m at the Wakefield office today and all we like is Leeds United, Rugby League, mushy pea’s and consistency in f1

We have consistency in f1, the only problem is that its consistently wrong

7736 out of something like half a billion who watch F1. That's an overwhelming percentage.

Really? If everything is sooooo bad, how come 99.99% percent havent bothered? Now, if it was 77K or 770K, then that would be cause to take note.
