Not like Bernie to back peddle. Funny thing, didn't Bernie organise a meeting between the teams to discuss them demanding Max's removal? And wasn't he angry at team (who shall remaind nameless) that didn't turn up? |

Why should any team wish to attend a meeting where the objective was to call for the resignation of an official the team in question would rather not resign... it would be pointless. Berni is always playing to whomever he perceives to have the upper hand... he (wrongly) believed Max was a goner and so allied himself with what he at the time thought would be the winning side... he true to form has realigned his position... The article is just another confirmation of Bernie's attitude to business... |

I'm not saying that it was wrong not to turn up, just that Bernie wasn't happy about it. My point is that Bernie is obviously making excuses. I mean, who actually has the power in F1 to put pressure on Bernie? |

The nearest I guess was the GPMA which by standing together started to dictate terms... but by dividing the GPMA Bernie was able to get thing back on his terms... |
