Many thanks for that ETG the surprise of free practice 1, is Vettel and Bourdais. I know it's only practice but still a surprise. <yikes>. Nakajima ahaead of Rosberg I also read somewhere that Coulthard crashed into the barriers on his final lap. |

The STR's are clearly light, yes they've got a 20bhp advantage over the Red Bull Renaults but that wouldn't make too much difference - although there are a few straights on this circuit. It did appear that Coulthard crashed breaking his left front suspension, although the view wasn't clear and there was no replay. Surprised the field is so close given the length of the lap. |

Well, session two is finished and there's only 1.9s between the entire field. Monobrow went out obviously on fumes to impress the locals, and got shafted by Kimi who went out just after him and stuck in a lap .020 quicker. Odd result of the day goes to Honda. Buttblug finished an astonishing third, 0.069 off of Kimi's time, yet Rubens ended up being dead last - and not due to a lack of laps either. Piquet was basically a second slower than Alonso, not to different to the gap between Kubica and the unimpressive Heidfeld. In this session, the STR cars ended up rather closer to where they would be expected. |

I think he cut across the pit entrance kurb (or what ever that yellow striped thing is called), apparently that is a no-no here. Note: this is based solely on what the tv guys said, and is in no way official. |

Glock did well, as did Rosberg, even thought the results don't really seem to reflect this. |
