Not yet, both drivers are evenly poised. Unlike another team that supposedly doesn't favour one driver yet one is miles ahead and the other gets all the duff decisions....

Hardly.... <no>

Kubica has only 49 points to Heidfeld's 41 points even with his win... I'd say they are fairly even <thumbsup>

OK, lets drop the conspiracy theories. <doh>

Name call McLaren all you want, it is their team and it is up to them how they run it. Besides, until Heikke is told "pull over and let Lewis win", what McLaren do is nothing compared to the Ferrari policy of the Schumacher era. The worst McLaren do is tell the drivers not to hold each other up. OK, Lewis probably has Ron's ear more than Heikke but that is hardly unexpected, bearing in mind how long they have known each other.

Anyway, what is wrong with team orders in a race. It's not like they have predetermined the WDC order pre-season is it.

Anyway <topic>

It is up to Ferrari how they run the team and if they feel that they can mount a championship challenge for 2 drivers then that is their perogative. Of course, running a team leader and a No. 2 may be more effective (if the No. 2 is any good) but also running 2 strong drivers can also work out well. Look at McLaren in 88/89 or Williams in 87 (though 86 sort of disproves the case).

If Ferrari ran as a No.1 and No. 2 driver set up, I would have no problem, that has been going on since the dawn of F1, why change something that is in the nature of motorsports.

Oh, and before anyone points out my disapproval of Austria 2002, my issue with that wasn't so much the team orders as the fact that they were completely unnecessary and embarrassingly implemented. I mean, they could have invented an excuse and brought Rubens in to the pits for a "check up" or something. Or may be they could have been honest with RB from day 1 and told him that he might have to give up the odd win for the sake of the WDC.

Or have a "Not allowed to beat Schumacher" clause in their contract.

Anyway, I'm glad to see that I amuse you.

That was intended as a sarcastic dig.

The Ferrari policy of 96-2006 was purely good sense because it would be insane to expect IR or RB or Massa to beat Schumi. It was just the fact that a couple of embarrassing incidents occured which upset the apple cart for everyone, especially after the FIA had marked everyones cards over Melbourne 98.
