Hamilton should be penalised for being too SENNA-ESQUE!

...or hitting the barriers, as that was the best thing that could have happened to Lewis in the early part of the race (as James Allen reminded us every 20 seconds during the closing stages of the GP).

In addition, I propose a twenty place penalty for Lewis Hamilton in Canada, as he deliberately ruined everyone's race at Monaco by beating them hands down....

<thumbsup>

Jealousy is a destructive emotion <sarcasm> <roflmao>

I'm not normally one to bash James Allen on these boards... but surely Lewis won the race DESPITE hitting the barrier, not BECAUSE he hit the barrier.

Who knows what would have happened if Lewis hadn't hit the barrier. What hitting the barrier did for him was force him to pit early and offered him an opportunity to change strategies and get a good track position with few hold ups.

true...

but it was the SENNA-ESQUE comment that had me laughing... indeed he had a yellow helmet so I guess that was very SENNA-ESQUE! <roflmao>

Why, would Schumacher-esque be more fitting?

If Lewis hadn't had to pit early and if Ferrari hadn't fuelled to the end. Would it have changed the result?

I think Massa might have got 2nd but not sure he'd have been able to beat Hamilton.
