It's the day before a Grand Prix and not a whisper on this here board.

Is this season dead already?

I'm looking forward to Saturday and Sunday as much as any race. I know there's not a lot of overtaking, but watching those cars flash around that tight, twist track, missing the barriers by millimetres is exhilarating enough. Passing would be too much!

Have a read of this by Mark Webber, eloquently describing what it's like to race at Monaco.

I really hope that there is a lot of on-board footage, especially from the nose of the car. Incredible how those guys manage to keep that up for the entire race.

It's quite a pivotal race, too. If Kimi wins, it's going to make him even harder to beat and he won it easily in 2005. Lewis is superb round this track and I would not be surprised to see him in front of Kimi on the grid. I do think that Kimi's going to try and quali a bit heavier, indicated by his drop in speed during the second practice yesterday.

BRING IT ON!!!

Monaco is always cool. It's not much for a race, but the spectacle is something amazing.

It should be wet tomorrow.. but might not be. Otherwise people don't get excited because it's too predictable.

Ironic as it is now, Shumi's indiscretion during quali really made the race better. He pulled of some really good passes.

I know may people say he was in a much faster cart, but as has been shown time and time again, just having a faster car isn't all that's needed.....

2006, 2005 and 2004 were all good races at Monaco. But last year was terrible.

This is a tenuous link, but here goes.

The brother of a guy i work with is on a Ferrari dealers sponsored yacht at Monaco because his friend who bought a Ferrari made contacts that got places for both of them.

Obviously when i asked who did i need to kill to have gone with them i was told the usual dear John...........

So i will be there in spirit and watching on I...........advert.......................T......................advert......................................................................V
