Martin Brundle is most definitely a Hammy's Boy... <icecream>

Really? I don't think so. He has only give Hamilton "Driver of the race" once this year and that was when he won in Oz. Even in Turkey, when it might have been justified to be given to Hamilton, he gave it to Massa, which shows that he is an objective commentator.

Anyway, what is wrong with a commentator leaning slightly towards his own countryman. Every other commentator does it. Oh, I forgot, it is against the law for the English to support the English, how silly of me.

Oh yeah, and if you can't tell. <sarcasm>

I think you are getting Brundle confused with James Allen.

Anyway, no-one complains about Old Muzza's fixation with Nigel Mansell. Then again, that more often than not, instigated Murray's "Kiss of Death".

Anyway, no-one complains about Old Muzza's fixation with Nigel Mansell.

To be fair, he was also very much a fan of Damon Hill and to a lesser extent Jenson Button, Martin Brundle and Mark Blundell. I believe he was simply very happy to be able to commentate on a fellow Englishman doing well in the sport the he loved to be able to play a small part in from the commentary box.

I remember Damon talking to Murray after winning the WDC: "While I was driving out there, I could hear you in my head."

I really don't know what your problem is. Aren't Brundle and JA allowed to offer a bit of home support, bearing in mind that a vast majority of their viewers will be british? Like I said before, some people have a chip on their shoulders about an English commentator liking an English driver. And before anyone bleats about impartiality, try looking at other countries' commentary teams. The Italians are grossly in favour of ferrari, the germans stopped watching F1 because Schumi retired, the Spanish commentators slated Hamilton last year because he was Alonso's rival, need I go on or are you going to dismiss what I say because you can't accept the facts?
