I think Monaco and Canada will be the two races where McLaren will be closest to Ferrari. For the rest of the season it's going to be a red wash, I'm afraid. |

Tracks (and weather conditions) which require tyres to get up to temperature quickly (and not last so long) are going to suit Mclaren better. I think Mclaren will be good at the same tracks as they were last year and probably have to three stop at tracks where tyre wear is a factor (Spa springs to mind). Should be a lot closer on the different types of track, though, although it remains to be seen whether Ferrari have produced a more kerb-friendly car. It does seem that Mclaren (Lewis) still have the tyre issues which cost them the championship last year. It was good to see Ferrari having to work for their win yesterday. Nobody wants a Redwash. |

I think McLaren have genuinely closed the gap, but they still have work to do. Monaco, Indy and Montreal are definitely McLaren tracks and they need to make best of their advantage there. |

Even if they where racing at Indianapolis this year in the 8 previous years they raced there Ferrari won six times (2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 & 2006) to McLaren's two (2001 & 2007) hardly a bogey circuit for Ferrari...

Great overtaking move by Hamilton which gave Massa a shiver, he seemed very nervy.

It not that it is a Ferrari bogey track, it that it has not been a happy hunting ground for Kimi or Massa. In fact Massa has a better points haul than Kimi at indy. However it is not really a factor when there is no race at indy. |

Hamilton's move was definitely ballsy. The sign of a man with no fear. I don't think Massa could have effectively defended it. |

Always a treat to see a very light fullled car pass a heavier fulled one...

now now ... just no pleasing some people ... it was good overtaking move regardless of the fuel difference. We all complain that there is not enough overtaking in F1, so lets not knock it when it does happen! Incidentally to those who say that ending refuelling will bring about more overtaking; this is a proof that this is not the case. I don't think Lewis would have gotten close enough to Massa to overtake him had they been on the same strategy - as they would have been if there were no refuelling. What we need is more variation not less; more variation in car design, more variation in tyre choice, and therefore in *strategy, will create the circumstances in which cars are quicker relative to each other at different points in the circuit and at different times during the race. Then maybe we would see more overtaking. * see Bridgestone smell of wee |

Do not get me wrong It was a good move... But I think it would have been a great one only if it had been in the last 10 laps... n'est-ce pas <yahoo |
