In the final stint when on equal fuel loads, Hamilton was slower than Raikkonen.

Ah, but Mclaren had acknowledged before the race that they were unhappy with how Hamilton's car was performing on the soft tyre. For a better comparison, look at the times mid race, when Hamilton was on his 3rd stint and the ferraris were at the end of their 2nd stint (hence on low fuel while Hamilton had another 5 laps before his last stop). Hamilton was matching both ferraris at that point.

Yes I think all things considered, the McLaren on hard tyres was possibly a shade faster than the Ferrari on soft tyres. At the end of the race the Ferrari was a shade faster on hard tyres than the McLaren on softs.

So there's not much to choose really.

By the by, even if he had a 1-second-a-lap faster car, that was still a stunning overtake.

And one more overtake than most of his rivals had to achieve (OK, Kimi did pass alonso).

Funnily enough Massa got overtaken during the race (for position) did no overtaking of his own and yet won the race.

Weird hey!
