hmmm ins't Sutil also categorised as German?

Yup, and he got a lot of hype too.......

Conclusion: If you're German and have one half decent session people will tout you as the next Schumacher. <roflmao>

At least the Germans have a recent Champion to tout.... <whistle>

<sarcasm>

<peek>

I don't know, there have been some great British champions. Do Clark, Stewart or Graham Hill ring any bells? <roflmao>

At least the Germans have a recent Champion to tout...

Recent being at least in my lifetime.

So what's with Nakajima and Rosberg, everyone was gushing when Rosberg was faster than Nakajima, but now it's reversed . . . . . nothing, it's not the first time either.

It has made me raise an eyebrow .....

But lets not get carried away, this is only practice and one swallow does not a summer make ... but I am more optimistic about the lad now than I was when he was announced as a driver for this year.

Here's hoping that he can continue his progress.

Nakajima has never been faster than Rosberg in the races. He did set a faster lap than Rosberg at Brazil, but it was a one off as he ended up almost a lap behind him.

Friday testing is just that. I'm pretty sure Nicco is ahead in Sunday sessions. <thumbsup>

That was the most enjoyable practice session ive seen this year...

1st practice Massa was sublime. he really worked that ferrari; lots of tuning of the brake balance in the lap.

2nd practice was a real race for fastest lap wih most of the front runners doing a quali practice near the end of the session.

cracking.

Ive got a feeling this race is going to be a stonker!

Wrong, no-one batted an eyelid because it was expected. Yet whenever Nakajima does better in practice it seems to be headline news. Practice times mean nothing. If Nakajima beats Rosberg in a straight fight in a race sometime, then yes, praise. But as has been pointed out, Rosberg was ahead of Nakajima last race when he retired, despite being outqualified.
