Massa loves this circuit, but I think that Kimi is soooo dialled in to his car now that it's surely his race, even if he doesn't get pole. I could be wrong, but if I'm right, then Massa may as well give up on the WDC and concentrate on helping his team mate (again).

Mclaren and BMW will be racing each other for P3-P6; Renault, Red Bull, Williams, Toyota and maybe Honda for P7-P16 and STR will race FI for the wooden spoon.

I think Farce India, sorry Force India will finished ahead of Torro Rosso

Damn - wrong ferrari <roflmao>

I think Massa will probably snatch pole but Kimi will probably win the race barring reliability issues, and / or crashes and just to cover all bases, an act of god.

Hard to say. Massa was quicker at Bahrain, so he's obviously good enough to beat Raikkonen on his day even without traction control. And, Turkey is a circuit he has won before, beating Schumacher comfortably for pace before. So, I'd say he has a chance at least.

Friday practice times will let us know more about who has the edge.

If you're going to take that stance, then maybe it should be
Sorry Aguri,
Torpid Rosso
Runout
Whonda
ToyMotor
Won'tiams
Meekclaren
Furyrarri (very apt)
Beaten MW and
Dead Bull.

As for Massa, he's likely to win it, but it will be give him false hope that he's going to win the title and he'll moan at the beginning of next season that the title should have been his despite not winning another race.

I'm with John on this one, it is a loaded question. There is no guarrantee that Ferrari will win at all, after all, McLaren, BMW or renault might have some interesting developments coming up for Turkey. Considering the ferraris though, I think Kimi has the initiative over massa but it will still be close between them.

yes John, you know where I stand on that one.

Ultimately Ferrari are just a bunch of human beings who display all the foibles and fallibility(sp) traits that all other human beings display, aggression, indignation, self preservation, one up man ship, greed, self appreciation, ego.

I would say of all the ridicule transformations that I provided, Ferrari get the most positive, yet it's still not enough for some.

Watching F1 is like being a psychologist studying a group of elementary kids in the playground.

Ferrari dominated in Turkey in both 2006 and 2007 (only thanks to a safety car did Alonso get between the two Ferraris in 2006, and McLaren were nowhere in relation to Ferrari last year). Given, also, the fact that no team has looked even remotely close to Ferrari so far this season, I think it is fair to assume that they will be the team to beat once again in Istanbul. Unless, of course, the issue of reliability for the red cars rears its ugly head again....

It's also doubtful that any teams will have any significant upgrades for Turkey, given that most released major upgrades in time for Spain (and with the 2009 regulations being so different, most of the midfield teams will be concentrating their efforts on their 2009 cars).
