Well, most of the staff would have come from other racing teams, SA were hardly recruiting from the dole queue. Many for these people would have made the step up to F1 believing that SA were a long term operation not a 2 year publicity stunt by Honda.

Could most of the team find there way to be empoyed by Honda

seeing most of the parts where from them?

If honda can afford to re-employ the excess staff, surely they could afford to help SA out for a few more races until they found a viable backer.

SA hardly recruited anyone from other teams, and it was clear to the public all along that Super Aguri was only created to keep Sato in F1.

Which means that it was a publicity stunt, which is not fair on the poor buggers that got suckered in. Like said, these are real people with real problems and families, not just some comodity that can just be expended.

Of course it was a publicity stunt. You seem to think SA duped these people. Everyone knew what SA was for. They failed to secure their own financial future and so didn't survive - not Honda's fault tbh.

But will there be protests from the Japanese public over this like the ones that caused SA to come into existance?

Nope, because now Honda can blame Aguri Suzuki for not sorting out the mess they got him in - therefore Honda have succesfully gained several years of development time in having four cars, plus got rid of the hapless (hopeless?) Sato without fear of penance from the Japanese public. For Honda, the sake of about $100M or two will have been well worth the development gains, as well as the avoiding the public backlash if they'd just dumped Sato straight off. Poor Aguri is now their scapegoat. I said he should have waited the extra year to sort things out properly.....

I bet the senior Honda execs are pissing themselves over this one....

<grrr>

That's about the size of it and that is why this case has annoyed me. As much as I don't like toyota, at least they are honest with their motives. Honda are a company in denial.

Well it's not showing.

Didn't Williams (a british team) dump Button in favour of a Columbian. Obviously there is something about Williams we don't know, maybe that's why they have a white line down the back of the their car.

And then dump the Columbian and try to resign Button.

Obviously they'd had enough of Columbian, er I mean the Columbian and they got the munchies and wanted some Choclate Buttons

Wasn't that due to their wind tunnel being miles out of calibration for quite some of that time?

So, will ITV amend their opening credits to miss out Davidson's face?

They've still got the 2005 Red Bull in it so I wouldn't hold your breath :P
